I believe that creating a garden should be an enjoyable experience. Collaboration is the key, and I strongly feel that we have a responsibility to the environment, which will influence decisions on design, materials and plants.
I have traveled extensively to look at plants in their native habitat and to see how gardens are enjoyed around the world. I feel this helps to develop a wider understanding of the needs of plants (and clients) making it easier to care for them.
In 2009 I passed both the RHS level 2 Certificate in Horticulture and the City and Guilds NPTC Level 1 Certificate in Practical Horticultural skills and all run a garden maintenance service too.
